Germany, Luftwaffe. A Rare General’s M43 Field Cap Archive A Croatian volunteer’s shield(Luftwaffe Einheitsfeldmtze M43 fr Generle). A rare and extremely well preserved Luftwaffe Generals Bergmtze style M43 field cap, constructed of dark slate grey wool. The cap is surrounded by fold down side panels, scalloped toward the front, which provide optional ear and neck protection to the wearer. When not in use, the panels are rolled up and secured in palace at the front with a single gilded magnetic metal button which emanates from the right
