Trust Sweet Iron Pelham eliptical 16 mm Mate:13.5 England and meet the qualityThis Trust Pelham double jointed bit is made of Sweet Iron. It starts out blue, but fades to a rusty brown with use. This is normal. If the bit starts to feel a bit gritty, you can easily wipe it off with a towel. A pelham works on the corners of the horse's mouth, tongue and bars, but the leverage also applies pressure to the headstall (behind the horse's ears) and in the chin groove using the included curb chain. To reduce leverage, Pelham bits are
