Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, with a central sword plunging into a five headed Hydra, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 48. 92 mm (w) x 59. 31 mm (h), weighing 31. 2 grams, in extremely fine condition.
